Igor Zeinalov


 

Igor Zeinalov is a professional artist, excellent illustrator and aquarellist. He was born 22 June 1959 in Penza, Russia. Member of the the Union of Artists of Russia.
From 1966 to 1973 was studying drawing and painting at the studios of P.A.Kirillov.
From 1974 to 1978 he studied at the Penza Art School after K.A.Savitsky.
In 1978 he was called up for military service. Served in Moscow and for two years of service he was engaged in graphical design at the state print factory "GOSZNAK". In 1988 he participated with his graphical works in the  exhibition of young artists.
In 1990 - 1993 he published a series of military-historical miniatures in a number of the Russian and foreign magazines.
From 1995 he works in a genre of small sculptural plastics. In the co-authorship with the Moscow stone-cutter they created a series of the animalistic sculptures encrusted by semi-precious stones.
Many times participated in Russian and foreign exhibitions, in 2001 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation.
In 1996 at the exhibition The Petersburg Jeweller, devoted to Carl Fabergé's 150-anniversary, has received the diploma in a nomination of Ornaments Of An Interior. Zeinalov's graphical works are in the collection of the Military-Historical Museum of Brussels, in galleries of the Great Britain. The sculptures are exposed in the galleries of Moscow and St.Petersburg, in the Museum of Moscow Reconstruction, in the Gift Fund of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in the Russian Jeweller Dwelling, in the gallery "Atrium" in Czechia and in the private collections of Russia and foreign countries. In 2002 the sculptural composition White Dance was exposed on the All-Russia exhibition Your Name. In 2002 Zeinalov's poster "Tolerance Is Me" was awarded at the All-Russia competition of the posters at the program "The Civil Society".
